Something to share? We're listening.
Got a suggestion for one of the tools, spotted something that isn't working right, or have an advertising question? Email is the best way to reach us — one address, quick replies, no ticket systems.
We keep things simple on purpose. There's no contact form to fill out, no department to route your message to, no "sales vs. support" dropdown. Just one email inbox, read by the people who actually build and maintain the tools.
To make sure your message gets a useful response, pick the reason that best fits what you're writing about below, and include a little context so we know what you're referring to.
Suggestions & feedback
Ideas for improving an existing tool, suggestions for new utilities, or general website feedback. Corrections to unclear wording or inaccurate results are especially welcome — they help us tighten things up for everyone.
Please include
- Which tool you're referring to
- What you were trying to accomplish
- Why the current behavior doesn't fit
Report an issue
Something broken, a wrong result, a layout that looks off, or any behavior that isn't matching what you expected. The more detail you can share up front, the faster we can find and fix it.
Please include
- The exact tool or page name
- What you were trying to do
- What you expected vs. what happened
- Your browser and device if you can
Advertising
Inquiries from businesses, agencies, or individuals interested in placing ads on WebUtils. We work with partners whose products are relevant to developers, designers, and the people who use the tools.
Please include
- Your product or service
- Your target audience
- Preferred placement or format
- Any requirements or constraints
Primary and only contact method

No form, no ticket, no chatbot. One inbox, read by the people who build the tools.
What makes a great message
We read every email that comes in, and we try to respond within a day or two on weekdays. To help us give you a useful reply without a lot of back-and-forth, here's the kind of information that makes the biggest difference.
-
Name the specific tool."The contrast checker" is more useful than "your website," especially since the site has several.
-
Describe the context. What were you working on? What did you expect to happen? What actually happened?
-
Share your browser and device. If it's a bug report, knowing whether you're on Chrome desktop, Safari iPhone, or Firefox Android helps us reproduce it quickly.
-
Paste the input if relevant. If the issue depends on specific text, a color value, or an uploaded image, including it in the email saves a round trip.
-
Use a clear subject line.Subject lines like "Bug: Schema generator — FAQPage missing field" are much easier to triage than "Question" or "Help."
-
One topic per email. If you have feedback on three tools and a bug report on a fourth, four separate emails will get four faster, more focused replies.
WebUtils is a small, hand-maintained project. We read every email personally, but we can't always build every feature that's suggested, and we may not reply at all if the answer is already on the site or in the FAQ. If your message is about a real bug or a thoughtful piece of feedback, you'll almost certainly hear back — usually within a couple of working days.
Common questions about contacting us
Most messages get a reply within one or two working days. Messages about bugs and clear feature requests usually get answered fastest. Messages we can't action (vague suggestions, things already documented, or things outside the scope of the site) may not get a reply at all — not out of rudeness, but because the inbox is read by the same people who build and maintain the tools.
A contact form adds a layer of infrastructure — validation, spam filtering, routing, storage — that a single-inbox project doesn't really need. It also means your message lives in someone's database rather than your own sent folder. With a plain email address, you keep a copy, the recipient keeps a copy, and the thread stays portable.
Yes — use the Suggestions & feedback path above. We're most likely to build a tool when it solves a real, repeated annoyance and can run entirely in a browser. Not every suggestion becomes a tool, but every suggestion gets read. If it's close to something we already planned, we'll usually let you know.
No. The contact address is for matters related to WebUtils itself — its tools, its content, its advertising, and its site. We aren't a general tech-support service for third-party software, hosting providers, CMS platforms, or other unrelated products.
Don't send sensitive data — API keys, passwords, tokens, private user data, or confidential business information — in a regular email. If a bug depends on sensitive content, describe the shape of the input without the actual values. Standard email isn't end-to-end encrypted, and we don't store sensitive information shared with us.
